Essential technologies

SaleAlert may use essential cookies or browser storage for security, form protection, user choices, cookie preferences, cache behaviour and core WordPress operation. These are needed for the site to work properly.

Analytics

SaleAlert may measure page views, searches, on-site retailer-page navigation and form interactions to understand what is useful. Analytics or similar optional tracking should not run until the visitor has accepted analytics cookies where consent is required.

Marketing tags

SaleAlert does not add affiliate or conversion tracking to retailer links. Any optional marketing or advertising tags should not run until the visitor accepts marketing cookies where consent is required.

Email tracking

SaleAlert’s recommended default is to disable email open and click tracking unless the email platform and SaleAlert policies support a clear consent-based setup.
